Area / Vineyard: Naoussa wine-growing zone. Relying on long experience, experimentation and knowledge of the Xinomavro variety, E. Tazoglidou selects special plants from the best vineyards of Naoussa. Plants are marked and monitored during the vegetative period. The taste test of the racks alongside the control of technological and phenolic maturation will determine the harvest date.
Vinification: Following the classic red vinification method with the aim of maximum extraction of all its components. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Tasting Characteristics: On the nose it has a complex character, multi-layered, with strongly fruity aromas, such as cherry and small red fruits that intertwine with those of olive and tomato. Its color is deep red and in the mouth its body can be distinguished with a very good structure and a strong aromatic aftertaste that lasts.
Harmony: Goes well with grilled meats or cooked with rich sauces. Excellent match with game and mature fatty spicy cheeses. Ideal temperature 16-18 C.
