Varietal composition: 100% Chardonnay
Area - Vineyard: Askos Thessaloniki-Toumba. 20 acres of privately owned vineyard at an altitude of 500 m.
Vinification: Classic white vinification, with separation of the precursor, cryo-extraction, static desalination and fermentation of the clear must at a controlled temperature of 16 - 18oC. The long-term alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks and is followed by a 5-month maturation in French oak barrels (of which 4 months in new barrels) with periodic stirring of the fine lees (sur lies).
Taste profile: Arvanitidis Estate's second Chardonnay label. Rich, fatty and buttery. The nose starts with exotic notes and is enriched with honey, chestnut and tobacco that reveal the passage from the barrel.
Harmonies: Dishes of high aromatic intensity and taste refinement, such as seafood, fatty fish and grilled meats, smoked cheeses.
Enjoy: at 12°C
Aging potential: 4 – 7 years
