Red Dry Wine
Origin: Mendoza, Argentina
Variety: Cabernet Franc
Characteristics: BenMarco is a tribute to the unique and varied terroirs in the foothills of the Andes. Through minimal intervention vinification, we preserve the pure expression of each variety and its place of origin. It matures for 11 months in second-hand French oak barrels.
BenMarco Cabernet Franc is produced with grapes sourced from Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, at an altitude of 1,152,144m. The limestone soils, as well as the warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to develop ripe yet fresh flavors while maintaining a good acidity and structure.
This Cabernet Franc offers clean and distinct aromas, with hints of spice and dry grass, a slightly earthy character and subtle hints of vegetables.
Pairing: BenMarco Cabernet Franc de Paraje Altamira is an excellent choice to enjoy with game meat, goat, venison and duck. Dishes with earthy and rustic flavors like Portobello mushrooms, black olives and grilled red peppers.
