Selected - Single Vineyard

Varietal composition: Xinomavro

Vineyard: The flagship of the winery's red wines is produced from the Xinomavro variety. These are grapes that come from a single vineyard in the area of Fitia, at the foot of Vermion, within Naooussa OPAP area. The vineyard is cultivated with mild cultivation practices and gives low yields of around 700kg per hectare.

Winemaking: An effort is made to tame the intense tannins of Xinomavro while protecting and highlighting its unique aromatic richness. The wine matures in 500lt oak barrels for 12 months and ages for 12 months in the bottle. It has an aging potential of at least 10 years.

Flavors: Red and black fruits (cherry, plum, black berries), clove.

Pairs well with: Red meat, game, mature cheeses, cold cuts.
