Natural Wine
Variety: 100% Agiorgitiko
Vineyard: Organic minimal intervention wine produced from a single north-facing vineyard, in the village of Ano Diakopto, in the north of the Peloponnese. It is grown in clay-rocky soils at 715 meters altitude, cool climate and non-irrigated, providing low yields, high quality grapes with significant high natural acidity.
Vinification: Long-term alcoholic fermentation with wild yeasts and use of free circulation wine only. Typical red vinification at 24℃, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aging on light lees for 5 months. Bottled, unfinished, raw and unfiltered.
Characteristics: Deep red wine with violet, cherry and plum aromas. Velvety, juicy and elegant mouth with lively acidity.
Ideal combination for daily meals of red meat, pizza, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled cheese or vegetables.
Best served slightly chilled 18℃, 13.5%
