"White Hare" is the name of the vineyard.

A top red wine from Crete that offers and expresses all the warmth and the Mediterranean temperament of the Cretan vineyard. It comes from the excellent vineyard "Aspros Lagos" and is a wine with personality and sophisticated character. Cabernet Sauvignon is used exclusively for its production.

In Dafnes, Heraklion, Crete, at an altitude of 350 meters.

Classic red vinification in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation takes place at 24 to 28⁰C.

The wine matures in French oak barrels for twelve months. New 20% barrels are used, as well as second and third use barrels.

The wine becomes even more beautiful and complex over time and has the potential for decades of aging.

Deep red color of dark ruby, towards violet. Rich and complex aromatic bouquet, definitely gooseberry and a whole range of dark fruits, as well as a suspicion of vanilla from the barrel, but also pepper. Rich, full of flavor with all the fruity and spicy features, excellent structure, tannins that are rich and strong, perfectly balanced with the rich structure.

The red White Lagos is served at a temperature of 17⁰C and accompanies all dishes from large beef and beef, grilled or cooked. It is also an excellent accompaniment to lamb or goat in the oven and of course with carefully baked ribs. It goes great with three-year-old Crete gruyere and all the old yellow hard cheeses.
