"Unitarian" means "Land of Wine".
A cute, simple and easy-to-drink wine that expresses the charm of everyday life in Crete. It is a blend of two native old grape varieties of Crete, Liatiko and Kotsifali, which are successfully "married" with the international Syrah. Syrah participates with 60%, Kotsifali with 30%, while Liatiko with 10%.
In Dafnes, Heraklion, Crete, at an altitude of 350 meters.
It can age very nicely up to 3 years.
Very nice ruby color, it's still very youthful. The varietal formality is preserved in the exuberant aroma of red fruits, accompanied by subtle plant and animal hints, as well as elegant notes of pepper. The taste is fresh and fruity, with high acidity and tannins of medium volume and firmness. Interesting and easy to drink wine, with excellent balance and delicious aftertaste.
Served at 17 ° C. Primarily a companion of pasta with minced meat, it excels especially with minced pork, wild goat or guinea fowl. It ideally accompanies red lentils or lentils with Cretan apaki. It is also a very nice combination with rabbit or hare stew, with aubergine and eggplant aubergines. It will also excel with Smyrna soutzoukaki with red sauce, while in times of mild temperatures - where you can enjoy rich and intense flavors - its acidity makes it extremely suitable for the fat of an opposite lamb.
