The eminent Mount Athos Wine comes from the organic farms of Mylopotamos and specifically from the varieties Limnio, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Limnio is a vine variety that undoubtedly demonstrates the depth of the proposal of modern Greek wines in today's wine world while the vinification of Mylopotamos gives an excellent wine with vanilla aroma.
- It has a deep red color while on the nose there are notes of dried plums, red fruits and spices.
- The taste has a firm body, generous structure with rich tannins, harmoniously polymerized, balanced acidity and prolonged sweet aftertaste.
- A wine with a large surface and with many promises to the lovers of the species who want in their cellar, wines older than ten years.
- If you pour it into a carafe before consuming it, it will "open" and give you all its rich aromas.
Mount Athos Wine Epifanis is ideally enjoyed at 16 - 18 degrees Celsius.
It was vinified in temperature-controlled winemakers for three weeks.
After malolactic fermentation, it was extracted and taken to new French oak barrels for 24 months.

Its mild tannins make it an ideal candidate next to baked fish, especially if the sauce also contains red wine.
