Variety Composition: Cabernet Sauvignon 65% / Merlot 30% / Cabernet Franc 5%
Wine Making: Harvesting begins at dawn, when grapes are in the best and most dynamic condition and have not yet been affected by the heat of the sun. This retains the aromatic and phenolic elements of each variety. Then the typical red wine making process takes place under controlled temperature. Following the procedure into French oak barrels and remains there for 12 months. Then the wine is bottled and left to mature for another 12 months.
Wine Characteristics: A gleaming purple red color with violet reflections. Nose of fresh red and black fruit aromas with discrete mineral notes.
Fully bodied and balanced wine with silky tannins. Long, velvety aftertaste with powerful dried plum and vanilla flavors. Taste, which is equally robust and well structured. Pay attention to the tannins and the fine way they are blended in.
Serving Recommendations: Ideal serving temperature at 17-18°C. Best accompanied by meat cooked with spicy sauces, game and yellow cheese.
A wine with a long ageing potential.
