Trying to redefine the quality and taste of Retsina, we carefully selected an exquisite Rodite, from dry vineyards of semi-mountainous Corinth, with very low acreage yields (900 kg), and we handled it with all the rules of modern winemaking while adding from pine Pinus halepensis.
The result is a new Retsina with white-yellow color and green highlights. A cool taste that balances wonderfully between grapes and pine, while lemon and a sense of mastic coexist equally without tendencies of dominance.
It may be the only wine that can harmoniously accompany those protocolless but so adorable, exuberant - and slightly anarchic - Greek meals, where the tsiros meets without hesitation the cane meze!
