CHARACTERISTICS: The fruit comes from a specific privately owned vineyard, with old plants in the Potamida area. It is an idiosyncratic wine that expresses the rustic aspect of Liatiko with ripe sweet aromas and highlights the uniqueness of the Cretan terroir. It is a highly gastronomic wine that will accompany beautiful fine dishes and delicatessen.
Soft red-orange color. Complex and ripe aroma of sweet spices such as cloves and cardamom, herbs of marmalade fruits reminiscent of cherries and figs along with hints of pepper, tobacco and leather. Rich and robust taste but at the same time elegant with high but very well integrated alcohol and a long spicy aftertaste.
VINIFICATION: Classic red vinification, fermentation at 26ºC in temperature-controlled tanks. Aging 10 months in 2nd use French oak barrels.
