Aged Tsipouro Kardasi, is a fine distillate of musk marc that matured in French and American oak barrels.
The residence of the distillate in the barrels lasts from 18 - 24 months. The residence time depends on the type and the burning of the barrel.
This process of aging changes the character of tsipouro, giving it finer aromas, richer taste and very strong aftertaste.
The final blend is an exceptional soft and complete distillate that pleasantly surprises you. Dominant aromas of fresh fruit, vanilla citrus and spices, chocolate mocha and tobacco.
It is drunk plain at a low temperature, in a glass of distillate (tulip) as a digestive dessert, after a good meal.
You can also drink it in a glass of old fashion cool.
Accompanies : spicy nuts or dried fruits (plums, apricots, figs, etc.). The ideal combination is with bitter chocolate stuffed with orange. It can also be the basis for imaginative cocktails.
