Vineyard: For Naoussa Kyr-Yiannis, the selection was made from vineyards of the Estate and more broadly of the Naoussa zone, mainly young, which present a strong aromatic potential and are mainly located in soils of light to medium mechanical composition and lower pH.
Varietal composition: 100% Xinomavro
Maturation : 12 months mainly in French and American oak barrels of 225 & 500 liters of 3 to 5 years. Further reduction aging in bottle for 6 months before release to the market.
Characteristics: light ruby appearance. Intensely aromatic with red forest fruits such as strawberry and cherry. In the mouth light, fruity, fresh with soft tannins and medium body
Food Pairings: Pleasantly drunk on its own and accompanying food with red sauces, cheeses, and light meals with fat such as charcuterie.
Alcohol content: 14%
