Vinification: From old vines, planted in clayey, stony soil. It is aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels and at least as many more in the bottle.
Characteristics: Deep red, almost black, solid. Multidimensional aromatic bouquet, with even greater development prospects. Violet, blackcurrant, a hint of plum jam, mint, cedar and toast alternate in the foreground. The feeling of wealth and power dominates, but without losing balance. Perceptible but well-crafted tannins, dressed with plenty of fruit, promising long-lasting and future pleasures.
Pairs with: While in its youth it prefers the more intense flavors of meats such as hairy game, veal chops or braised beef. As it matures, it is flattered by milder dishes such as veal fillet and roast lamb "sella".
It will continue to evolve for at least 20 years from the harvest year.
