Red Dry Wine
Origin: Montes, Colchagua Valley, Chile
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon - Carmenere
40% of the wine was aged for 10 months in first-use French oak barrels.
The highly aromatic nose shows intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits such as cherries in syrup, strawberries and figs over a spicy background reminiscent of red and black pepper along with notes of fresh smoke and cream that pair very well with aromas of coffee and dark chocolate which appear after a few minutes in the glass.
The generous palate has very nicely rounded tannins that provide a central vein that gives structure to the wine along with a sense of sweetness on the mid-palate that makes this an elegant and juicy wine with very good persistence.
Enjoy now or cellar up to 6 years.
