Red Dry Wine
Variety: Mavrotragano
Vinification: The red wine Αióra (hammock) Mavrotragano Amphoreas is a mild natural vinification wine from the Mavrotragano variety (100%). In this wine we have followed a traditional natural vinification method, without the use of machinery, where the wine followed fermentation in the amphora with natural native yeasts from the vineyard. It is bottled unfiltered and without the addition of sulphites after 12 months of maturation in the amphora.
Gastronomic information: It has a sweet Mediterranean aromatic character with sour cherry jam and black berries, dried fruits and violets, but also herbs such as thyme and rosemary, while notes of fresh wet earth will arise from the use of a clay amphora. The mouth is full in volume, with balanced acidity and soft but intense tannins. In the mouth it is juicy with cranberry, sour cherry, dried black fruit, ripe blackcurrant with black pepper filling the palate.
