Organic Biodynamic wine

Varietal composition: Mavrodafni (dry), Bostilidi

Winemaking: The 80-year-old self-rooted, pre-leaf drying vineyard has scattered stems from the Tsaousi and Vostilidi varieties among the Mavrodafni rows. A mixture of white and red grapes (field blend) that is a tradition in Kefalonia and other historical areas. The two varieties are co-vinified, ie they go together in a vinification bucket, 3 tons at percentages of 85% Mavrodafni and 15% Vostilidi approximately. Mild intervention wine without clarification, with slightly sulfite, unfiltered.

Tasting characteristics: The mouth is harmonious, velvety with a fine balance of alcohol and acidity while the tannins are refined. Bostilidi boosts strength and intensity but the wine remains elegant with aromatic clarity and a beautiful gentle stew.
