Aging : Fermentation and long-term post-fermentation extraction in stainless steel tanks. Complete malolactic fermentation in barrel and maturation in 50% new French oak barriques for 13 months and 6 months in the bottle. Red cherry, sour cherry, liqueur, cinnamon, cedar, mouth exuberant, complex.
Vineyards : Mountainous Argolis at an altitude of 650 m.
Area yields : Cabernet Franc: 900kg / acre. (53.5 hl / ha), Merlot: 750 kg / ha. (45 hl / ha), Agiorgitiko: 600 kg / acre. (36 hl / ha)
Tasting characteristics : The color is deep, clear purple with ruby highlights. The nose is intense, full of density and freshness due to the vegetation of Cabernet Franc. The aromatic character is based on the ripe fruit (red berry, red cherry and ripe strawberry) along with sweet aromas of chocolate, cinnamon, cedar and a distinctive barrel. In the mouth it is full, with rich extract, alcohol that balances the tonic acidity and mature dense tannins. The mouth aromas follow closely those of the nose with the fruit even more accentuated. The aftertaste has duration, volume and complexity.
