Microclimate : The climate in the zone is characterized as a warm continent with the winds from the sea and Mount Vermio on the other hand playing a catalytic role during the ripening period, maintaining the grape temperatures at low levels for the season. In Santorini the climate is warm Mediterranean, dry, with very hot summers and mild winters.
