Varietal composition: Xinomavro

Mater Natura 08 is 100% Xinomavro and is vinified by Vassilis Vaimakis. Vassilis Vaimakis is one of the first oenologists in Greece to explore the limits of natural vinification of Greek grapes with zero sulphites. Mater Natura are a series of unique numbers, reflecting unique vinifications that are not repeated.

Fermentation takes place in a tank and then the wine matures for 15 months in oak barrels (old), without sulphites.

Mater Natura 08 has a ruby color in appearance, with gray highlights. In its aromatic characteristics we find aromas of cherry, wild strawberries, raspberries, herbs and notes of mushrooms. In the mouth it is elegant, medium-bodied, with cool acidity, soft tannins and a lasting aftertaste.

Served: at 16-18 °C.
