Varietal composition: Agiorgitiko 85% - Cabernet Sauvignon 15%.
Description: The noblest Greek red variety, Agiorgitiko, marries the cosmopolitan Cabernet Sauvignon, in a wine with a strong ruby color. Quite rich mouth, but with relatively soft tannins, and strong aromas of cherry, gooseberry, cedar and vanilla.
Vineyards: From selected vineyards of the semi-mountainous areas of Nemea. Harvest date: Mid-September.
Winemaking: Extraction 10-12 days at 22-25 οC, aged 3 months in French oak barrels, third-fourth use.
Serving temperature: 15-16 oC.
Combines with: yellow cheeses, pasta with red sauces, braised pork or chicken.
